This course explores the history and development of student services in higher education, the role and function of student affairs professionals, the various functional areas that comprise student services, and contemporary issues 304 in student services. There will be an emphasis on understanding the organizations and roles of student affairs within higher education. Three hours of lecture or equivalent.
