BIOS 463 - MEDICAL GENETICS

An integration of the central principles of classical, molecular, and population genetics, with emphasis on their clinical application. This course is intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of Mendelian disorders, cancer genetics, multifactorial inheritance, and clinical cytogenetics and is designed for students preparing for careers in Biological Sciences, medicine, allied health fields, Agriculture, Psychology, or Secondary Education. Three hours of lecture.
