Introduces principles, concepts, methods, techniques, algorithms, tools, and strategies to transform and process the masses of information from biological experiments. Focusing computational methods to analyze genome and protein sequences to derive structural and functional information. Student teams conceive, design, specify, implement, evaluate, and report on a software project in the domain of biomedicine. Three hours of lecture.
