CSC 670 - MOBILE ROBOTICS

The course introduces the design and implementation of different types of robots, sensors, and locomotion. Topics include algorithms and models for control, perception, sensing, localization, mapping, planning, and navigation. Students taking this class benefit from mastering the basic aspects of robotics and from implementing algorithms for different aerial, mobile, and manipulator robots. Student projects involve the literature study of a fundamental robotic task and develop a solution to the task in real-world settings. Three hours of lecture in a computer lab setting.
