MATH 453 - ACTUARIAL MATHEMATICS I

Designed for students interested in taking the first actuarial examination. Topics include probability theory in the context of risk and insurance, conditional distributions and expectations, ordered statistics, moment generating functions, discrete and continuous random variables including binomial, Poisson, uniform, and exponential. Three hours of lecture.
