MATH 210 - APPLIED STATISTICS

This course is appropriate for students in all majors other than mathematics. Topics include descriptive statistics, elementary counting principles and probability, discrete and continuous (including binomial, normal and T) distributions, sampling distributions, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, chi-square tests, linear regression and correlation. Three hours of lecture.
