BIOS 220 - PATHOPHYSIOLOGY

This is a course that will cover the structural and functional changes in cells, tissues, and organs of the body that are caused by disease and the effects that these changes have on total body function. Attention will also be placed on the mechanisms of the underlying disease processes and the clinical manifestations of the diseases, as well as diagnosis and treatment of many of the diseases that will be covered.
