CSC 630 - COMPUTER NETWORKS

The fundamentals of data communications and computer networking. Topics include data encoding and transmission methods, as well as network architecture and protocol. The OSI model is used as the basis of study. Students will conduct a thorough independent design of a network or a thorough analysis of a modern network protocol. Three hours of lecture in a computer lab setting.
